Plain Edged-Single Bladed Knives – $6/knife regardless of size. (When I say any knife, that doesn’t include swords and machetes.) These are done on a powered system and then I polish the edge with a paper wheel loaded with rouge for a nice shiney edge and smooth cut.. Many of my customers fit in this category.
Serrated knives 6” or less blade length– $8.50/blade. (including full or partially serrated, I do not sharpen micro-serrated Ginzu style) .
Serrated knives over 6” blade length – $11/blade. This will mainly apply to kitchen bread knives.
Serrated Knives Note – Completely Ruined Serrations – add $4/blade for half serrated edges, add $8.50/blade for fully serrated edges. Add this per knife in addition to regular serrated knife fee. This is only if part or all of your serrated blade is so bad that the edge that’s supposed to be sharp is actually near flat when looking at it straight on (in other words, it’s basically ruined). We will re-grind and hone where the serrations were supposed to be.
Tanto blade – $8
Multi-bladed, Pocket knives – $6 First blade and $3 for each additional blade
Double-edged knives – cost double whatever type blade/options you have (i.e. straight edge, serrated, etc).
Machetes – $12/blade. The edge will be at an angle which will maximize usefulness and longevity.

Lawn Mower Blades – $12/blade. You remove. I will sharpen and balance the blade.
Custom Knives – Start at $20 and goes up depending on options. This price includes an extra $10 fee for the extreme care given to your custom knife (taping off the blade, handling carefully, etc) unless you specify otherwise. This is the default if your knife is over $300
Hand Sharpening of knives (i.e. Done on the Edge Pro Precision Sharpener which is a completely manual system) starts at $15 and goes up depending on the desired options. Mirrored edges are done by request and cost between $30 and $50 and will be able to whittle a hair on most knives.
